§ 86-58. Parks; opening and closing.

All public parks of the city, except Washington Park, Fox River Park and Allen Park, shall be open for use between sunrise and dusk of each day. Use of Washington Park, Fox River Park and Allen Park shall be between sunrise and 10:00 p.m. each day. The word "dusk" shall mean the period of time between sunset and natural darkness, and the presence of artificial street lighting shall be prima facie evidence that dusk has ended.

Appropriate signage indicating the opening and closing times prominently shall be posted at all parks within the city.

No person shall enter or remain in any park within the city except during the periods of time permitted by this section and during city sanctioned events.
