§ 22-170. Conflict of provisions of Code of the city: effect of partial invalidity.

In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with any zoning, building, fire safety or health provision of the Code of the city existing on the effective date of this chapter, or which may hereafter be adopted, the provision which establishes the higher standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the people shall prevail. In any case where any other of the code provisions of the city establish a lower standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the people, the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to prevail.
