§ 110-51. Purpose.

It is the purpose of this urban forestry ordinance to promote and protect the public health, environment, safety and general welfare by providing for the regulation of the planting, maintenance and removal of trees, shrubs and other plants within the City of Ottawa, Illinois, (hereinafter referred to as "Ottawa" or "city").
